A Seller's Guideto Prepare for Your Notary Appointment

There are two of the happiest days in a homeowner's life, the day you buy and the day you sell!





Congratulations on selling your property! Here's what you can expect when closing the property.


Items to Bring to the Closing:


  • Valid and non-expired Identification

  • Supporting Documents Requested by Lender

    • Power of Attorney

    • Trust Documents

  • Banking Information (Voided Check)

    • Routing Number

    • Account Number

  • *1031 Exchange Account Information

The Process:


The Notary will be assigned to your closing. We will confirm your closing date and time, please allow 30 minutes to arrive at the appointment as we will be coming from another closing.


The appointment should take around 30 minutes with the majority of the time spent filling out the forms. Most packages are around 20-40 pages.


If there are multiple people selling, you may not all need to be at the same location at the same time.
